CAF Website Says NFF President is Aminu Maigari

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is yet to recognize embattled Amaju Pinnick as the president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

The information on the website of the continental soccer governing body yesterday revealed that the names of immediate past president of the federation Aminu Maigari and vice president Mike Umeh are on the list as officials of the Nigeria football ruling national body.

The CAF website in its details of its affiliated countries indicated that though the Nigeria Football Association was formed in 1945 and became a member of the body and FIFA in 1960.

It has names of some clubs in the country like Bayelsa United, Heartland, Bendel Insurance and Enyimba on the site with Alhaji Aminu Maigari and Mike Umeh as president and vice president respectively.
