Mayweather Is Living Up To His Moniker ‘The Money Man’

Undefeated champion, Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather is reveling in his massive winnings and has splashed some good cash on himself  at a high street retailer following his money-spinning bout with Conor McGregor.

The former five-weight world champion took his record to 50-0 when he stopped the UFC star in the 10th round in their Las Vegas bout, and is now enjoying retirement in typically lavish fashion.

And the 40-year-old forked out $60,000 (£45,000) on new clothes at Barneys, a luxury retailer, in California.

But that will be just a small dent in the winnings from the cross-code mega bout at the T-Mobile Arena last month.

It is sure to be enough for one of boxing’s biggest superstars to ease himself into retirement, which Mayweather recently confirmed is for definite this time.

‘The last fight that I fought, that was the money fight,’ Mayweather said during a chat with Diego from the Youtube channel Awkward Puppets.

‘For real, because the next fight, they’re going to try and get me to fight an alien on another planet.’
