Nigeria Premier league side, Wikki Tourists showed fight and resolve as they played out 1-1 game against the league’s defending champions, Plateau United at the New Jos stadium on Wednesday evening.
The champions who are dropping points for the first time at home this season turned up the game on the visitors after goalie Okiemute Odah was tested by Abubakar Umar as early as the 3rd minute of the game in the rescheduled matchday 15.
However in the 25th minute, Odafe once again at the forefront of clean chances didn’t fail to disappoint as he opened scoring after he was played through on goal by Osanga.
The Bala Nikyau led boys not wanting to bow under pressure from the home side levelled scores through Abubakar Umar in the 58th minute as they battle to climb out of the relegation zone.
Plateau United remain 4th with 29 points and Wikki Tourists also remain 17th on the league table with 22 points.
Meanwhile, other results showed that Kano Pillars defeated Akwa United by a lone goal scored by Rabiu Ali from the penalty spot.
