Zambia U-23 team coach Fighton Simukonda has declared that Samson Siasia’s boys will not qualify for the All African Games football event at their expense.
The return leg of the All African Games qualifier is billed for Sunday afternoon in Lusaka after the first leg in Abuja ended in a goalless draw.
Simukonda, who has his full complement of invited players for this epic clash, said, “Nigeria can’t come here and beat us in Lusaka, we are ready for Nigeria we can even play them right now.”
While Coach Samson Siasia has only one foreign-based player, Atanda Sodiq Ololade of Fk Apollonia Albania at the Abuja camp for the crucial match, a reliable source close to the Zambian team informed them at full strength for the second leg. “Zambia U-23 team’s camp is bubbling,” AfricanFootball.com was informed.

“Red Arrows midfielder Bruce Musakanya, who missed the first leg in Nigeria due to injury, is fully fit and in camp. Bloemfontein Celtic of South Africa midfielder Mukuka Mulenga who was not released for the first leg is in camp already.

“The players who played for Power Dynamos and Zesco United in continental games are here too. The spirit is high. Egyptian side’s Wadi Degla striker Ronald ‘Sate Sate’ Kampamba is also in camp.”
